Visit from Saudi Arabia

The principal of the German International School in Jeddah, Sabine Schönsee, visited us from 16.05. to 20.05.2024. This school is very interested in a partnership with the SIS schools in Germany and our SIS Cairo West.

Ms. Schönsee visited the Glauchau International Primary School, our "Firlefanz und Wirbelwind" daycare centre and also our secondary school and the grammar school in Meerane. In Saudi Arabia, similar to our SIS Cairo West, the children are taught cultural skills as well as foreign languages in a playful way in the daycare center - with excellent results.

The early, playful teaching of foreign languages, reading, writing and arithmetic mentioned by our namesake Prof. Hahn works just as well there as it does in many other countries around the world. Ms. Schönsee was very impressed by the visit to our holistic all-round education, the school equipment and the atmosphere in the facilities.

She was also impressed by our interactive learning and experience world Phänomenia in Stollberg.
